canning machine useless from moment of native stacking food (140th version of game).

it may be usefull only in "reversed mod" - fill large amount of food item into single can for easy use and unified storage.

Some people don't want to waste high hunger healing foods (most of the meats, for instance) to heal one point of hunger, but health regeneration stops after hunger goes down just a single point. Since canned food only fills one hunger, there's no guilt of 'wasting' a food item early game (or anytime for hoarders like me :P).

I've been using it to can rotten flesh, because for whatever reason, even though I've been keeping my IC2 version up to date, I don't get the 'this smells funny' message ^_^

It purifies rotten flesh and spider eyes, and heals you. It may be slightly less useful than when it was first added, but it is far from useless.
