Summary | 0001501: Sound Engine Crash
Description | Neptunepink posted this on IRC: http://sprunge.us/ZTEF happened after messing with resource packs and then turning off a reactor
Additional Information | Looks like the reactor turning off triggered a crash trying to either start or stop a sound. Not tried to reproduce it myself though.

He was using 646, so not the latest version, but nothing looks to have been changed since then sound engine wise. |

this is likely because the sound files (and usually the audio manager itself) were reloaded, thus invalidating any active audio sources or clips, the fix would be to reload IC2's audio manager and flush active sources upon a resource reload. Simplest way to replicate the bug is to just start a basic reactor > go resourcepacks > click done > turn reactor off and the world will unload from the packet exception. |
