| Summary | 0002297: Scrap Box delays, no outputs from dispenser | ||||
| Description | Problem: Scrap boxes appear to have a delay between use and then only work sporadically. When opened by hand the delay increases randomly for between each of the first four to five uses. After that point the player experiences random delays of 5 seconds or more before the scrap box will allow use again. When automated with a dispenser the first three to four scrap boxes will work correctly. Additional boxes are consumed by the dispenser with only sporadic drops (around one in twenty). This behavior appears regardless of the delay between operations by the dispenser. Tested using timing loops of 1, 2, 5, 8, and 10 seconds built with redstone repeaters. Problem appears when connected to a server based game and single player saves local. Environment: Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge clients running on Windows 10 and MacOS 1.13.2. Clients connecting to forge server running on CentOS 7. Default modpack is the FTB Direwolf20 1.12. Tested against pack versions 1.30 and 1.40. Also tested standalone versions: industrialcraft-2-2.8.16-ex112 industrialcraft-2-2.8.36-ex112 Forge 14.23.1.2555 - Server and clients Forge 14.23.1.2580 - Server Forge 14.23.1.2581 - Server Forge 14.23.1.2583 - Server Forge 14.23.1.2584 - Server I've been unable to find any documentation for the delay.
