| Description | I think they should either be swapped or switched then lowered. If you want to make mining bit easy in general as in hook on a MFSU, etc then I recommend doing Tier 4 for both but Advance Minor should always be the same or more then normal Miner | ||||

Just want to add that it should be set to Tier 4 as your unable to use Lapis crystal in the advance one sadly. |

The miner's tier is purely defined from the minerDischargeTier config (in the balance section) whilst the advanced miner's tier is set to 3 no matter what. The advanced miner should probably scale depending on the config too. |

Ahhhhh, We thought that might been the case in the end but were too damn lazy to double check haha :) Awesome thanks for confirming it. Once you do put Upgrades into them they do work fine as well. But it would be nice being able to throw the crystal in at anytime. Thanks. |

Fixed in IC2 2.8.107: the Advanced Miner is now 2 tiers higher than the Miner, up to a maximum of tier 5. |

Thanks for the update. I was a bit slow to test it but sadly it's still causing booms. When you check JEI says Power Tier 5 (we have Lap crystal enabled. When you place it down and use Shift to look at the machine using TOP it actually says Tier 3. Then when you plugin a MFSU the fireworks goes. Not sure if we are doing anything odd since we do have TR installed. But I assume TR has no reason to touch it. version 107 confirmed within game. |

Forgot to also increase the default tier with the config, should work properly with IC2 2.8.108. |
