|Summary||0002507: Compressor uses 4 sand to make sandstone|
|Description||When compressing sand into sandstone in the compressor, the compressor uses 4 sands. This doesn't match the recipe on the wiki or common sense (why would I use a machine for what I could do in my inventory crafting GUI?).|
|Steps To Reproduce||1. Place compressor.|
2a. Place less than 4 sand inside.
2b. Notice that nothing happens.
3a. Place 4 or more sand inside.
3b. Notice that it uses 4 sand to make a sandstone.

||This is more likely to be intended behavior. The main point of using a machine (and using IC2) is its ability to automate things. If you work on a huge project and you need millions of sandstone, do you want to craft that much by hand? Also, a lot of contents on the wiki is more likely to be outdated. Using JEI/NEI to look up for recipes is highly recommended.|
||Don't think it's a mistake but to automate things there is the batch crafter which is faster than a compressor so using a bit less sand would be fair.|
||I think it's fair to revert this back to the old recipe saving sand. Compared to things like the ingot compression recipes that would definitely cause exploits being cheaper, the potential for one extra sand is hardly ending the world when you could macerate renewable cobblestone to achieve the same thing.|
