Summary | 0002526: "Vanilla" crops on crop sticks do not reliably pick up resource pack textures |
---|
Description | Resource packs can use block model json files to handle crop stages instead of providing the expected texture filenames. In the attached image I used Sphax PureBDCraft with IC2 patch, leftmost is beetroot grown directly, to the right of that is beetroot on crop sticks, then stickreed, carrots on crop sticks, and finally carrots grown directly. |
---|
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Download and install a resource pack that uses block model json files to handle crop stages instead of distinct texture pngs - Sphax PureBDCraft works for this, at least on beetroot and carrots.
2. Plant said crops on cropsticks, and compare to planting them directly on farmland. |
---|
Additional Information | Technically, PureBDCraft also uses block model jsons for potato crop stages, but I've looked at decompiled source, and the IC2 potato crop does not extend "CropVanilla", so it's unaffected by this. |
