| Description | i am from China ,i must tell you something important. Although this situation only affects the server, it is very serious. I don't know whether this mod has network packet validation (i.e. not 100% trust the packets sent by the client). If not, I hope the author can add them in time to prevent the client from sending the modified packets to the server, which has led to the forced shutdown of most mod servers in China, Many mods have this problem. There is nothing unknown in the way of network crash exploits in IC2, the networking logic is fairly conservative in what it allows from the client. Sampler may be able to capture rogue packets with its packet tracker you have a server that gets taken down a lot. |
