Those are bugs in the recipes IC2 added to the NEI database. The actual recipes work and make more sense. I believe the MV transformer is [insulated copper cable] - [basic machine casing] - [insulated copper cable]. The recipe for the hoe is a small power unit with some plates arranged in a way I can't remember. |

I downgraded it to version 360, recipes are corect now. |

Great. Now that you know what they are, you can go back to 397 and use them in the crafting table even though NEI doesn't show them correctly. The devs probably fixed this in later versions but only for 1.7.2, so we have to live with it in 1.6.4. |
