| Summary | 0001332: Energy loop: stirling engine / electric heat generator | ||||
| Description | For sure in terms of energy conversion it is not a good idea to hook stirling engines up with electric heat generators. However I did this when experimenting with the heat transfer feature. For any machines I tried (if there I am not wrong) I found a rate of 1EU -> 1 HU and 2 HU -> 1 EU which is fine concerning thermodynamics. However by hooking up stirling engines with electric heat generators this causes an energy loop because the stirling engine tries to power the electric heat generator, resulting in an energy loss of more than 50%. In my view this makes no sense. Direct nergy transfer from a stirling engine to a heater should be prevented as it causes also an enourmous energy flickering in the E-Net if the heater is not supplied with sufficent power. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Hook up stirling engine with electric heat generator, supply it with power from a bat box (for energy limiting). | ||||
