There is nothing here in the bugtracker when searching for "miner", the Wiki has no entry but the recepy and IC2 forum search with "advanced miner overclock*" mainly provides results in the GregTech section, whereas none of the posts really says something about scanning speed but there are unanswered complaints about not enhancing speed.

So where do I have to search else???

However: What does the scanning speed enhancement do? There is nothing to be seen by the user that there is any form of scanning going on...

Does this only work in combination with active blacklist/whitelist that is set to mine cerain ores?

if search for "miner" in Bugtracker i find 5-6 Reports with same Description..

Yes Scann Speed bonus only work in combination with active blacklist/whitelist
...Miner scann x blocks peer tick default 5.. if find a whitelist ore mine it..and wait for next tick

I know now, why I did not find anything. I just found that out by chance because I could not see any reports you speak of. Perhaps that should be put down somewhere in the rules or so because I think a lot of people don't know that:

The default value in the search options is "simple filters" - that does not show any closed reports. You have to toggle to "advanced filters" in order to see them.
