| Description | Yes, it is pointless. The EU generated by the steam generator complex is the same as a simple stirling generator. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Insert 100 hU/t in a steam generator complex, convert it to 50 EU/t Insert 100 hU/t in a stirling generator, get the same 50 EU/t https://imgur.com/a/viavf | ||||
| Additional Information | Increase kU produced per mB/t of steam by 50% For example 100 mB/t of steam generate 300 kU/t kU/t per mB/t of superheated steam stays the same. This would result in : Stirling Generator hU:EU ratio of 0.5 Steam Generator hU:EU ratio of 0.75 and 0.875 (on superheated steam) Additional suggetsion: Make fluid input control of Steam Generator more precise, up to two decimals. Mininum of 1mB/t of water only allows inputs of heat in multiples of 100, which is awful to get. | ||||

steam generator very very powerfull if you manage to inject more then 1000 superheated steam into turbine per tick. but generation of soo much heat is very complex due to low performance of heaters. also looks like it should be very powerfull, but actually it is not and 512 eu tick per generator is limit |

However if there is no reason use the steam boiler if the regular steam is pointless. Superheated steam, in my opinion, is designed to generate slightly more energy because of the extra complexity (of a second turbine and kinetic generator and more maintenance needed). |
