| Description | If multiple faces of the electric sorting machine are set to output the same item, any copies of that item placed into the electric sorting machine will be duplicated in all of the outputs. For example, if you place 2 blocks of dirt into an electric sorting machine with 4 outputs set to output dirt, you will get 2 blocks of dirt in all of the outputs for a total of 8 blocks of dirt. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Place an electric sorting machine with 2 or more blocks attached to it that can receive items (like an item buffer block). Set 2 or more of the outputs on the sorting machine to output the same item (I've tried dirt and gravel and noticed the bug using uranium ore). Place one or more copies of the item into the electric sorting machine from your inventory (or from output of another block, such as an item buffer with an item ejector upgrade). All of the outputs that were set for that item type will have the same number of copies of that item as were placed into the machine. If 3 of 5 outputs were set to get the item, each output will have the same number of items you placed in the sorting machine for a total of 3 times the number of items that were placed in the machine. I noticed and reproduced the bug on IC2 2.2.645-experimental in single player. | ||||

Items are only duplicated if you don't put in enough to evenly distribute between the outputs (not number of items in stack multiplied by number of outputs). If you put a stack of 4 of an item into the sorter but there are 3 outputs that get them, each of the outputs will get 2 of the item. |
