You can't eject fluid out of an ore washing plant because there's no fluid to eject. It takes water and only water, and cannot run without water. |

In the past, I have used Fluid Ejectors to move water from one Ore Washing Plant to another, in a chain. |

I know it's possible that this was never intended behavior, but the fact is that old behavior is useful and I've already used it extensively. Since the new behavior renders existing setups unmaintainable, and forces the use of much more complicated setups instead, I'd at least like to know that the breakage is on purpose. |

What version were you using in the past when it worked? |

I just tested with build 719 (the build I was using before) and in that version fluid ejectors can be put into ore washers. I find it likely that build 752 is the one where the behavior changed. |

This behavior change is most likely a result of player's upgrade "refactoring" that took place a few months ago. Since the old behavior was not intended i will close this issue for now but i'll ask the team if the behavior should be changed because chaining ore washing machines is actually quite helpful for more compact systems. |
