Summary0001996: compatibility Immersive Engineering Uranium
DescriptionIt seems that the Uranium from IC2 can't be melted into Uranium ingot from Immersive Engineering. It can be pretty annoying when you use IC2 Uranium in world generation and you can't use it with Immersive Engineering machines. So far it's the only recipe which seem to miss.
Additional InformationI use Minecraft 1.10.2, Forge 2077, Immersive Engineering 40 and Industrial Craft 2-2.6.60-ex110

Which type of uranium would you want do that, U-235, U-238, Uranium Enriched Fuel? They're all fundamentally different.

What does IE use uranium for anyway?

No it's the Uranium ore itself that is melted into uranium ingot, and IE doesn't use particular Uranium, just Uranium.

Our uranium ore is registered as oreUranium so providing the smelting recipe IE has actually uses that ore dictionary entry it should work anyway. Item wise our forms don't sound like what IE uses uranium for at all, especially as they aren't ingots, so I doubt anything will be added for using those.

But it shouldn't be so complicated to add a recipe with Uranium melting into IE Uranium ingot...

Whilst it wouldn't be, neither would it fit logically with the tech trees.

If you can't smelt our Uranium Ore into ingots that's IE's fault for not using the ore dictionary for uranium ore.

Our uranium items aren't going to get a smelting recipe added as it's not really a logical change to heat up various isotopes of uranium into a single ingot form. If you really want that I'd recommend trying something like https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/crafttweaker.
