| Summary | 0000205: Quantum boots jumping feature fails to function | ||||
| Description | The quantum boots feature that allows for large/high jumps is not working properly when attempting to use it. This is with a Helmet, Leggings and Boots, no chest piece. It is not clear if you need the whole suit to use the feature, but as the leggings speed boost, and helmet feeding function work, I suspect it is not required. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. NEI in a fully charged helmet, leggings and boots. 2. Attempt to jump with the boots, and you should find the function is not working. | ||||
| Additional Information | This is not a crash, but is a bug in some way, as such there is no crash report. I do have a number of sub-mods, such as the following: Advanced Alloys Advanced Machines Advanced Power Management Compact Solars IC2 Nuclear Control Advanced Solar Panels GraviSuite Transformers It may be possible that one or more of them is creating a function conflict, but so far testing has not yet proven that to be the case. | ||||

I know this will sound rude, but are you using the boost key? (L-Ctrl by default) If you are, another mod may be conflicting with the boost key. Try changing it. |

Yes. We've attempted to use other keys with the same results. |

I have done some subsequent testing, and I have confirmed the issue may be a key binding conflict. The initial quick tests failed to work as there appears to be a double entry for key bindings being introduced for all of my keys. I did not pick up on this during the first round of testing changes, but have been able to confirm it now. As of this moment, the keybinding issue seems to be the root cause of this problem, and may not be an actual bug with IC2. This issue can be closed, but I am unsure on how to do that. |
