Summary | 0002060: Reactor breaks after save/load or dimensional travel
Description | I made a large EU reactor put some rods in it and then saved and reloaded the game. My reactor was missing parts after. I had the reactor hooked to an mfsu using EU detector cable. This started when I updated to industrialcraft-2-2.6.131-ex110.jar I was using 129 before, I think.

Missing parts as in missing items or entire chambers? |
Can confirm this exists in 2.6.132 as well, and affects the fluid reactor. Probably somehow related to the fix for 0002009, as it disconnects the chambers and drops them as items. To reproduce (SSP): 1. Load up a world, create a Nuclear Reactor and attach any number of Reactor Chambers. 2. Save and quit. 3. Reopen the world and observe the disconnected Reactor Chambers (and any components that were inside). Also, it doesn't always disconnect all chambers, for reasons I'm unclear on, but it seems that inside the pressure vessel all six chambers will always pop off. I have not had the issue with dimensional travel myself, but my portal for testing is right next to my reactor, so it may be a chunk load/unload issue. It occurs to me that possibly, depending on when the block loading order: if the chambers are loaded first and have a 'linked' state set (from the saved game), and /then/ the reactor block loads - it would force them to drop as items. |
I feared so, the fix for 0002009 is probably causing it. |
I think it'll be fixed in IC2 2.6.133, please try it and report back. |
133 works great over here, my reactor is intact. |
