Summary | 0002136: cables and machines turn into laggy blocks
Description | on my mp server when another player places a machine or a wire, it turns into a weird textured block for all other players that causes huge lag, like with 4 blocks its unplayable. this only started happening when we reverted back to 1.8.9 so we could also have buildcraft. I get no errors on the server when starting or playing.
Steps To Reproduce | get mc 1.8.9, install forge, ic2, and buildcraft. then have 2 people join and have one person place some insulated copper wire.
Additional Information | i dont know if this happens to anybody else but right now our game is unplayable. I have attached a picture of what the laggy blocks look like.

Which version of IC2 are you using? Is there anything in the logs (especially client side) whilst it's lagging? |
|
I am using ic2 version 2-2.3.263-ex18.jar and I checked both logs and there is nothing at all out of the ordinary. |
|
do you need any more info? what can I do? |
|
I had this with wires when minecraft has midmaps enabled. I could fix this by turning midmaps off on 1.10.2 (industrialcraft-2-2.6.202-ex110) |
