The purpose of coloring cables is to make them separate with the cables that are colored differently as you know (and currently that's the only way of doing so), and the construction foam wall (which you call it "bubbles") is to prevent the cables from melting when being too close to a well-heated reactor. Otherwise it is just decorative, therefore it doesn't split cables. It is just am outer casing, with cables inside. I tested the differently-colored cables and sprayed them with construction foam, and they don't carry EU. Could you please be more specific about what you're trying to express in the screenshots? |

Check this screenshot. The cables with different colors can be connected and carry EU through a construction foam. |

Did you paint the cables that are covered with CF in different colors than their neighbors? I can't reproduce this. |

Once you put constructor foam on a cable you can't change the colour of the cable unless you break the wall (as otherwise it's in the way). Being able to paint walls has always been a feature ever since the painters were added, and the colour of a wall has no bearing on the colour of the cable that might be inside it. |
