The wiki is somewhat outdated, but JEI is always a good source of crafting recipe information. When detonated in the center of a 5x5x5 stone block, both Industrial TNT and dynamite can create a 3x3x3 hole, but dynamite also creates fire, burning some drops. Therefore, I think crafting 2 dynamite out of a industrial TNT is reasonable, 8 is just too much. The sticky dynamite recipe is obviously a bug, it should be changed into 8 dynamites=>8 sticky dynamites. |

Fixed in IC2 2.8.175 Also whilst the normal dynamite recipe is a little generous, realistically no one uses it for mining anyway so boosting it to encourage use can't hurt |
