| Description | When I begin the game, Forge does its setup, and the game proceeds to the Mojang screen. The game then Black-Screens and has to be exited out of. | ||||

| Additional Information | I am using a batch file to redirect the startup location of the game. I do not think this has any effect unless Forge was built with unchangeable access locations. I seriously doubt that because it probably pulls from the current directory. (Attached is Forge log 0) | ||||

META-INF is deleted. The game starts up when IC2 is removed from mods folder |

You are trying to run IC2 version that is for MC1.45. You need to use the beta version that is for 1.47. Check here (down at the moment but check later) http://141.28.27.36:8080/job/IC2_lf/? Or here for "official" beta version for MC1.47 http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=8831 You might also want to update forge and buildcraft while your at it. (should not be required though) |

Thanks Geggo. Never felt like more of a Noob in my life. But that makes me wonder why the latest recommended build is outdated? They should've prepared one of the latest betas. |
