Summary0000318: Disabling ore generation in the IC2.cfg not only stops the generation, but deletes any pre-existing ore blocks in the world.
DescriptionIf a user disables copper, tin, or uranium ore generation in the IC2.cfg then it not only disables the generation of these ores in the world, but also deletes the ore blocks completely from the game.

When it should only stop the ore from generating not delete the ore blocks.

Steps To Reproduce1. Turn on copper/tin ore generation in the IC2.cfg
2. Make a new world.
3. Disable the copper/tin ore generation in the IC2.cfg
4. Load up the world again.
And any pre-existing ore blocks will be replaced by air.
Additional InformationBy default IC2's copper and tin ore is disabled in Feed The Beast mod packs.

Any FTB user that tries to connect to a server that has enabled the generation of IC2 copper or tin using the default IC2.cfg will get this error:

Forge Mod Loader has found world ID mismatches
ID 246 (ModID: IC2, type tinOre) is missing
ID 247 (ModID: IC2, type copperOre) is missing
You cannot connect to the server

Any FTB user who manually changes config files to use IC2 copper and tin must always remember fix his configs after every mod pack update, for if he loads up his world using the default IC2.cfg all IC2 cooper and tin ore that previously existed will disappear.

I think that this is intended. If you can't find copper/tin, then why would you need the ore blocks?
EDIT: Not to say that this shouldn't be changed though...

The big issues that this causes are:

If the ore blocks were not deleted when turning off the generation, then players could connect to servers that had enabled the generation, without needing to enable it themselves.

If a player starts a world with the generation turned on and at some point the config's got reset (as they do when FTB mod packs update) and the player loaded up the world forgetting to turn generation back on, then the world would be completely ruined no longer having copper or tin ore.

I believe it removes all ores from world to free block IDS.
