| Platform | Minecraft 1.3.2 | OS | Windows 7 | OS Version | 64 |
| Summary | 0000062: Engery movement not updating correctly at all! | ||||
| Description | At first the problem didn't occur but after creating my first miner, it happened every time. I have recreated the bug in any mode: -Pure MC 1.3.2 with latest forge and ic 1.106 - -Mc 1.3.2 a lot of mods + latest forge for 1.3.2 + ic2 1.106 -Mc 1.3.2 clean install + recommended forge for 1.106 = forge 4.1.1 -all above done in survival mode (creating every single block from scratch) and in creative (just spawning the blocks) -update: destroying the energy source or drain and not the cable will update the Go here for youtube video: youtube.com/watch?v=yaWxP9joDXY&feature=youtu.be the video shows how a miner not running takes tons of energy from a batbox. When destroying the cable linking the two together the batbox keeps loosing energy even though the solar panels should give energy. When relogging the batbox "updates" its links and start gaining the energy from the solar panels. Relinking to the miner and destroying the cable: the bug starts over. this is also tested for other devices. geothermal, wind, and more + MFE unit. -Also done on normal minecraft launcher + magiclauncher. | ||||
| Additional Information | The bug came out of nowhere. played for like 4-5 hour with no problems and then the bug came. Recreating the whole .minecraft folder didn't remove the bug. (it is to be said that i had to download a 1.3.2 minecraft.jar from another webside since the official mc is now 1.4.2. | ||||

Lots of enet bugs were fixed in 107/108. You should not expect to get any bugs fixed in an earlier build of a beta release. Thats why they are beta releases - they are buggy. |

Soooo? There's supposed to be a version 1.107/108 that ain't beta and works for MC 1.3.2? Because I can't find it on the official wiki or forum website. Sorry for taking the subject to a "need-personal-help"- level. I''m sure an admin can lock the issue down if its inappropriate. Anyhow, I just want to play ic2 on minecraft 1.3.2. Any links to a 1.108 non-beta version without these bugs? |
What's wrong with the 1.107 beta? I've been running it on a server for at least a week now with no issues, and I'm building mods against it. It's kind of "google-style beta" at this point. |
Well, I've been running the 1.106 version in which the bug occurred. I've just found a beta 1.107 version on the forum and I will try installing it today when I come home from work. But is 1.107 and 1.108 not unstable versions since they aren't on the official download page? And shouldn't 1.106 then be more stable? |
I think 1.107, at least, is pretty much locked in stone right now. 1.108 might have a few more versions come out soon, but that's about the worst instability I'd expect there. They have fewer bugs, but (as I understand it) they're marked unstable because they don't run with a recommended Forge build. As to that... the non-recommended Forge builds I've tried have ended up being pretty stable themselves. I can highly recommend the Forge 318 / IC2 1.107 combination as being extremely good and bug-free. |

beta 71 work just fine. |
Thanks for the recommendation. Might change to that forge build if 1.107 doesn't work with my current build. Problem is I run a lot of other mods dependent on tha build. :( hope 1.107 can run on that one too or I'm screeeewed. |

so I'm home at last. Searching the forge download section: http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/board,3.0.html no forge build is called "3.1.8" if that's what you meant and if one should , it would be for MC 1.2.5. If you meant the Jenkins build it doesn't exist either, and same for FML version. So which forge build was it exactly you recommended? (: My forge version is: 4.2.5.303 and when loading IC2 1.107 with it, i get an error which says forge needs to be updated. But, the newer forge build is 6.0.1 and thats for MC 1.4.2 which is conflicting with the IC2 being for MC 1.3.2, it says in this post: http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=7993 edit. Just found a 4.3.5.318 which is the latest forge update before v5. Installing it now. Crossing fingers! :D |

SUCCESS! THANK YOU SO MUCH NARC! IC and forge should really update their official download pages since on neither of them the latest build for each version is available... Big thumb up to you for the help! --Resolved |
Heh, you're welcome. For future reference, you'll want http://files.minecraftforge.net/ for just about any forge build you can think of. Have fun! |
