It is known that Forestry is not updated to the new IC2 API so the electric engine obviously crashes the game every time. There is a build of Forestry that does not crash when you place it, but the engine does not yet function. Better just not to use the electric engine at all until IC2 2.0 is near release and Forestry updates to match the new API properly.
