| Summary | 0000794: Cannot break cables. | ||||
| Description | I'm having severe issues with breaking cables. I have tested this on the copper cable, insulated copper cable, and the fibre cable. In survival, it acts like bedrock, my diamond drill does nothing to it, and as you would expect, nor does other tools. Switching to creative did not do any better. It did the animation of breaking it, but the block either didn't go anywhere, or it reappeared instantly. about 1% of the time I can break them fine. oddly enough using a shovel in creative mode it seemed to be more often that I could successfully break one. Another thing that seemed to help was taking out the blocks that provide power. finally it seemed like breaking the machines they were connected to helped. However these could be the result of coincidence. I had been using experimental version 250 or so, (not sure about the exact number) and had that bug. Now I am on v. 301 (latest at this point in time) and the issue persists. (the product version box doesn't have these options) | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | I cannot seem to place any cables without them doing this. | ||||

My shot-in-the-dark thought of what might be happening is that the cables cant be broken with energy in them, and they might store some energy. I'm not a seasoned coder, so I could be way off. |

Turns out that this same thing is happening with Buildcraft pipes... So it's probably not IC2. I have no idea what mod could be effecting this. |

Sounds like you have a mod that is preventing easy breakage of cables. What mods do you have installed? |

Would you by any chance be using the Morph mod? If so, morph back to original form and try breaking cables/blocks. |
