| Description | The hammer can not be used to craft copper plate or tin plate from ingots in the same fashion that iron ingots can be crafted into plate. NEI reports that the way to make these plates is using the Metal Former, but the metal former can not be constructed nor can a generator to power it be constructed without having first made the plates, because the plates are a requisite component for making copper wires, and the RE Battery required for a generator. | ||||

The same mistake is in Version 2.0.330-experimental too. |

I came across this post that suggests that this might have been caused by Advanced Solars: http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&postID=140754#post140754 Haven't confirmed for myself yet. |

Confirmed. Updating Advanced Solar 3.4.5 to 3.4.6 allowed the crafting of copper plates. As far as I am concerned, this issue can be closed. |
