| Description | Using IC2 Experimental 349 and Gregtech I have an MFE supplying an MV Transformer via two Gold Insulated Cables on "Fixed Step Down" mode to an Industrial Blast Furnace from Gregtech which requires a constant 128 eu/t due to not having an internal storage. This works fine when there is only one face of the transformer being used, but when I attach another Industrial Blast Furnace to one of the free faces of the transformer, the blast furnace reports "Insufficient Energy Line" meaning the packet is smaller than 128 or not being supplied every tick | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Build an Industrial Blast Furnace or Industrial Grinder with 2 or more of the 2. machine blocks 3. Supply an MV transformer with 512 eu/p into the high voltage face. 4. Run cables off of the different low voltage faces into the blast furnace blocks 5. Begin processing a recipes in all connected machines 6. Observe the GUI of the machines and see "Insufficient Energy Line" | ||||

This may be intentional--the EU net and packet system changed a lot in IC2. The transformer may be unable to output more than 128 EU/t total, split among the sides. In that case you would need to use four transformers on the same 512 EU/t to convert the entire input to the lower voltage. Can those machines accept transformer upgrades? That's a convenient way to do it. |
