I found rubber tree in other biomes also, not just in swamplands. |

I've looked in the forest biomes as well as I know that's the other biome they spawn in but I can't find a single one. Before it was like every other tree in the swampland was rubber and they weren't hard to find in the forest. |

I found it on Forrest Hills. Among Oak trees. |

No I couldn't find anything but oak and birch. Are you using the same mods? Could one of the others be messing things up somehow? |

huh, try to update to latest version and remove <minecraft directory>\config\IC2.cfg and IC2.ini those files should be re-generated after launch actully there is settings in IC2.ini like: [worldgen] ; Enable generation of rubber trees in the world. rubberTree = true |

Deleted everything to do with IC2 and tried again but it didn't seem to work. Also didn't generate an IC2.ini file... Don't have the problem in 438 however did have to take out optifine for it to work. |

Your last post indicates that IC2 just wasn't installed properly. When in doubt craft a treetap to check if IC2 is available. The trees spawn fine for me. |
