| Summary | 0000061: crafted RE battery changes to discharged RE battery on crafting table if there's valid receipe | ||||
| Description | As the summary says if you have an newly crafted RE battery without the charge indicator (NBT tag) and you place it on crafting table grid with valid recipe (like drill for example) it will suddenly change to empty RE battery (with NBT tag) even if you don't craft anything. If you have more than one RE-battery in the slot they won't change. | ||||
| Additional Information | Retested with just forge and IC2 installed to make sure other mods weren't causing it. Sort of related to issue 0000043 | ||||

I think crafting them should give a battery with charge indicator, this problem also exists with crystals and can become a big problem in buildcraft autocrafting systems because it will only accept used empty bats or newly crafted ones but not both. |

Agreed, this is kind of a pain. However, if you're using Logistics Pipes, there is a work around: If you set up the crafting table and the crafting pipe properly, then take an un-tagged battery (or crystal or lapotron) and click on the input slots in the pipe, it will pull the untagged items. The Auto crafting table doesn't care about whether the item is tagged or not. |
