| Summary | 0001734: Mass Fabricator causes crash when placed beside an Auto Workbench | ||||
| Description | When a Mass Fabricator is in the adjacent cell to an Auto-Workbench, and the Mass Fabricator is equipped with the Pulling upgrade : On completion of an automatic craft of the ScrapBox - the server crashes when the Mass Fabricator tries to remove the box. I suspect the Workbench is trying to output to the next adjacent cell, but the MF is attempting to pull at the same time etc In any case - the Mass Fabricator was named specifically in the Crash report. I observed the crash happening at pretty much the instant that the Crafting of the ScrapBox reached 99/100% | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Place a Mass Fabricator Place an Auto Workbench to the left of it (they must be in contact) Place pulling and ejector upgrade into the MF Set the Workbench to the ScrapBox pattern/design Supply Power to both (if required) Connect the Workbench to a Recycler via transport pipes (I use Golden) Supply the Recycler with Cobblestone, and power until 9 scrap pieces have been produced. When 9 pieces of Scrap have been produced, observe the scrap entering the Workbench and crafting commencing. When it reaches 99.9% - Crash The Crash does not occur if the Workbench and the MF are one cell away from each other and connected by Wooden Extraction pipe + Redstone Engine. This leads me to think it is an issue with the pulling upgrade and how it interacts with entities that try to output the objects on their own. Perhaps an update to the code that checks for this capability in the entity, before attempting to take the object? | ||||
| Additional Information | I think this crash occurred twice on command - the second time I did look at the crash log, but I have since lost it. (Note - this bug was reported via your website, but I am unsure if it went into the tracker or not) Was present in the FTB Infinity 1.11.2 pack. (Latest) Crash first occurred over the weekend 25/09/2015 - 27/09/2015 | ||||
