Summary | 0001688: Water mills and macerator.
Description | IC V : 2.2.759. Forge : 10.13.4.1492 Here's the prob: Trying to craft water mills, I couldn't. I couldn't also have access to the recepie via NEI. Trying to fix this probleme, I found that the water mill recepie was disabled in the Shaped_recipe.ini. I took off the semi colon and indeed, I could create them again. However, doing so caused another problem to the Macerator. In fact, it was no longer acceping any kind of materials (neither ores nor inogts, nothing) When I put back the semi colon for the water mill recepie, the the Macerator was back to do its job in a normal state but alose bakc to the inability to create Water mills
Steps To Reproduce | -Couldn't craft Water mill. No recepie was available acctually. -Checked the shaped_recepie.ini found that water mills line was disabled (commented ";"). -Took off the semin colon and water mills could be created again. -Macerator no longer grinds ores and ingots. -Put back semi colon. Macerator back to work normally. Cant craft Water mills.
Additional Information | Using latest IC2 as of now, plus NEI, Thermal Exp, and BC. Tried IC2 alone, same problem.

Watermill's recipe is deliberately disabled. The fact that the macerator has issues when the shaped_recipe.ini changes is the issue here. Although when I tried it, the macerator worked fine... |
The water mill recipe was disabled on purpose since the kinetic water generator is in now. Are you changing the shaped_recipes file in the jar or are you overriding it by putting it into the config folder? |
I changed it from the jar |
I tried it using the config folder method and it worked fine. If you don't include one of the machines files, will it just load it from the jar instead? Just as an idea it could be that either there was an empty macerator.ini file in the config folder too or IC2 is expecting one, not finding it and carrying on without adding any recipes. Doesn't explain why it's sensitive to the shaped_recipes.ini file changing though. |
If it can't find one in the config folder it will load the one inside of the jar instead. It will also pront out to the console how many recipes of what kind were loaded. So yeah, try to override the files by putting them into the config folder. |
