Did you edit the file inside of the IC2 jar or did you put the edited recipes file into minecraft/config/ic2 ? |

The jar file itself, i could get the recipe to change when doing it in the config |

You shouldn't modify the jar. That's most likely the problem. |

Can you help me add the recipe to the config then, I am a little confused on how to do it |

You open the shaped_recipes.ini, edit it and save it to minecraft/config/ic2/shaped_recipes.ini |

Guess you could sign the recipe config files like the rest of IC2 is so that it won't start if they're modified to fix problems like this, especially with the explanation on how to use them with the latest build. |

I have no clue on how signing stuff works. I guess it'd be better to sign the whole jar then, but that's something for player to look at. |
