Summary0002287: EU stop flowing when destroying one side of a split cable
DescriptionOkay first of all sorry for this bad headline, but I couldn't came up with anything better.

In the attached screenshot you see a cable (middle cable) which comes from a fully working reactor and then splits up into two cables leading to MFSUs, each on one side.

When I now remove the cable which directly connects the middle cable with one of the MFSU on one side, the other side stops receiving energy too even tho the MFSU and the reactor is still connected there. To be fair, to fix this I just had to replace the cable which connected the other sides MFSU with the reactor, so it's actually no big deal.

Does this always happen? I couldn't reproduce the issue.

Yes, this always happen. Once I cut energy on a splitter (or break it), machines before and after splitter stop receive energy
Also this problem mentioned here: https://bt.industrial-craft.net/view.php?id=2128

I encountered something similar today and just messed around with it in creative for a bit, may or may not be related
I did find a reliable way to break it though
To reproduce build the setup in the screenshot & turn the splitter cable on twice (the first time it still works fine)

Nothing in the logs (just me setting time to day via command and saving chunks when quitting the world)
